Unbeaten 86

October 26. Many say it is a black day for Chelsea FC. After 90 minutes of struggle, the team lost 1-0 at home. It had been 164 weeks, 1146 days, 4 years and 8 months since we lost a match at home. And when this record ended there were tears, there had to be. After all, no club in the world can boast of having not lost at home in 4 and half years. But was it so bad to have this record? Hurling abuses at the manager, calling our players no good. Is this what they deserve after having worked their socks off to defend this record? I don't think so. They are winners, they don't deserve to be jeered and booed after going 86 matches unbeaten at home in the League, at least not by their own fans. Many hearts might have broken, but when you look at the positive side you know there's only good things to come. We don't have to play with an extra load of defending our turf when we play at home the next time. We'll play the beautiful game, simply beautifully.

Election Dayz...

14 days...14 candidates...3000 students...These were the numbers of target. The days of election was one of the most memorable incidents of life. After the date of election was declared we had 14 days for campaigning 3000 students in a 14 member SFI panel. On campaigning we had to showcase the 14 and to prove their qualifications. I was in first year at that time. So most of the work was meant for us. We worked day and night sticking posters, banners and writings. The main problem arose when the opposition was trying to irritate us by spreading bad roumers about the party. Then we had to go for the contradictions and thus show the strength. It was a period of struggle and our efforts were well answered. I can't erase the memory of that election and its struggle.

A must watch movie...

'Which movie?' Lijin asked. After clicking pause I responded in excitement 'Notting Hill. So far good.' He joined me with the movie. After the movie ended we started to discuss about it. I was sure it was the best I have ever seen. We suggested all our friends to see it. It was quite randomly I played that movie on my PC. It gave a very different approach of life. The dialogues at each instances were praise-worthy. Each character was presented interestingly with a unique importance. I must say that it is a must-see movie and my favourite

Happy Onam!

I was frequently gazing at my watch while I was writing my last exam before Onam holidays. I was in a hurry and much excited that I couldn't write the exam well. I saw my friends leaving the hall. Sajesh who was sitting right in front of me also finished. Now I was in a hurry and I didn't even write the last answer properly. Anjana who was the class leader then was collecting the answer sheets and she was staying back till all left the hall. Sajesh kept his paper in the bundle and then turned to Anjana and said 'Happy Onam'. She smiled as he left the hall. Next was my chance and I also repeated the same and got the same complement as that of Sajesh. When I left the hall I understood what I had done. Sajesh bidded her since he had a slight complexion for her. He wanted to express it by bidding her. so my bidding would have made his words insignificant. I was very sorry for him. When I met him from the hostel, he was angry and he didn't knew what to do. Shamil heard...

Pages from the past..

How can I know each and every incident in my life. I was quite concerned about it when I was at school. So I started writing diary. For the first week I wrote pages about different incidents. I even wrote the menu of my food. Later I found that it was difficult to maintain like that. So I did shorten it with only important incidents. That too diminished and the writing became monthly including the series of incidents. At last I quitted almost fully by the end of my schooling. When I went through the pages of it, I was nostalgic. I knew I couldn't continue writing pages. In this blog I can post my life and I can read so that I can remind my past.
