Seniority Demanded!!!

Image
What to say about a person whom you respect without anyones force? What to write if I say I like to follow his life style? How to start if he is always in my mind? I don't know why Shameer became a hero in my mind. Maybe his approach to certain things. His way of handling people. His life style. Shameer was in 8th standard when joined in 6th. That means two years of seniority. As he was in the same batch of my cousin, Shanooj we happened to together in many occasions. But I started noticing him only at the last period of their school life. We were in the same dometry with my batchmates. As I was in 10th, our classes completed soon and it was study leave. I never liked to wake up early morning. Shameer who was then in 12th was also busy with study leave. He used to wake me up every morning, and I would lie there itself covering my blanket. Seeing this he would get angry and will beat me with a stick, which he used to keep near his cot. Now I would fled up from my bed fearing his be...

Be My Valentine!!

"Today I am thinking about the special ways you have made my life better. You are a gift to me and thank you for being you. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY". It was a valentines day message from Nizam. A usual forwarded message. I just thought that way. But After sometime I started thinking about the importance of the day. Everyone in this world is aware of this particular day. Those who love or not, its special. Some may be simply hating the day. But if a girl or a boy approach her with an affair in actual won't he\she change mind. So all are expecting someone to come infront and express the love. The day is only an occasion where he\she expect the most. Feb14th. Why did it get selected as the special day. St. Valentine, a Roman who was martyred for refusing to give up Christianity. He died on February 14, 269 A.D., the same day that had been devoted to love lotteries. St.Valentine left a farewell note for the jailer's daughter, who had become his friend, and signed it "...

I can swim!!!

Yesterday I went to bath in the pond near by. I was learning the primary lessons of swimming. Hussain was my teacher. After about an hour I understood the basic trick and could move a distance up to 10 metres. I was very happy and gained my confidence and thought I could swim without others help. There were Alex and Aseem too having classes from Hussain. I was swimming along the steps at the boundary of the pond. My confidence made me swim more. But suddenly I felt like my muscle stiffening. I couldn't move my left leg. It made me sink in to the depth. I couldn't call for help. The pond was almost 2 metres deep. I tried to wave my hand. When my eyes rose just above the water level, I checked whether my friends were seeing me. They were all in their own world. I knew I was in danger. With all my strength I lifted myself and started swimming. At first I couldn't move. But I tried harder. My leg was still paining. I was about a metre away from the step. I waved my hands and p...

help me plz....

Assignments were the biggest burden of our Navodayan vacasions. Some assignments were boring and we often did in a rush. The assignments included written works, charts, presentations etc. Often my father helped me to do most of the works. Once I had to present charts on different political leaders. I had to choose two. One was Sir Syed Ahmed Khan and the other was Shri. Atal Bihari Vajpayee. While preparing for Ahmed Khan, my father helped me by collecting many pictures and important references. So the work became simpler and I could complete that chart with a professional touch. It had 4 pictures of the great historian and also was made colourful with borders and words. I was sure the 60% of its credit was for my father. The next day I started with Vajpayee, Prime Minister at that time. I took the chart expecting my father's help. I went to him and said about the chart. Enquiring about the person, he started to come with me. But as I said Vajpayee, he took a pause and said. Bet...

Fatal separation...

As I entered the class I noticed the silence. I looked around to see whether there was a teacher. All students were looking on the black board. It said. 15 more days for the 'Fatal Separation'. I joined others staring at the board. My eye started to wet. Nobody did say a word. Later I enquired and found that it was written by Praveesh. I thanked him in my mind. He was true. Now only 15 more days to go. After that we would complete our +2 and will have to loose these friends. Any way the words strked my mind. The fate cannot be accessed. I never want to forget about it. Thanks to Praveesh for his words. everything in nature will have some fate..
