Be My Valentine!!

"Today I am thinking about the special ways you have made my life better. You are a gift to me and thank you for being you. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY". It was a valentines day message from Nizam. A usual forwarded message. I just thought that way. But After sometime I started thinking about the importance of the day. Everyone in this world is aware of this particular day. Those who love or not, its special. Some may be simply hating the day. But if a girl or a boy approach her with an affair in actual won't he\she change mind. So all are expecting someone to come infront and express the love. The day is only an occasion where he\she expect the most. Feb14th. Why did it get selected as the special day. St. Valentine, a Roman who was martyred for refusing to give up Christianity. He died on February 14, 269 A.D., the same day that had been devoted to love lotteries. St.Valentine left a farewell note for the jailer's daughter, who had become his friend, and signed it "From Your Valentine". Saint Valentine served as a priest at the temple during the reign of Emperor Claudius. Claudius then had Valentine jailed for defying him. In 496 A.D. Pope Gelasius set aside February 14 to honour St. Valentine. The history may be a simple story. But its impact on the present generation shows how love is relevant in a person's life.

Passanger Train...

Next train is at 2:40 pm. The man at the enquiry counter said. I looked at my watch. Another two hours more. Imperceptibly he added. There is a passenger train at 1:15 pm from the second platform. The game was in good progress. We had started to create a formation for making the goal. Each player had started to mark a player at the opponent and it made the game more interesting. It was just a 12 year herd playing a time pass football match. The ground was really tough for us to cop up with, the contour was fluctuating for the full length. The match was interrupted suddenly and I saw Arif and Ajith flooding to the right corner of the ground. I shouted at them and asked to get back in to the match. We got hardly an hour a day for games in the busy schedule of Navodaya,my school. I understood they were running a bit seriously, and i joined them. Luis Figo- Someone to admire!!

I was in 9th standard. It was the season when I had started to love football. And so I had started to see many major games on TV. I got familiarised with many teams and players. I enjoyed World cup and many good tournaments. One day Aneesh, my classmate told me about Figo. He said that Figo is a great player on the mid-fields. Later I saw his game and was amazed on his skills. I became a true fan of him and kept on watching his games. It was Euro'04. That too in Portugal. Al though I was a supporter of England, I wanted to see Figo win. Watching Portugal's game I thought they deserved the cup. They made their way on to the finals. Greece. The other finalists.
