I am at fast

'What is in the mess for tea?' Shamil asked. 'Biscuit'. I saw his face turning sad. 'What should we do?' Seeing me unanswered he said with a bit of excitement. ' Gafoor is the only option.' I knew he would say that. Smiling back I added. 'Set'. It was a day in between Ramzan in my school. We were not allowed to fast. The authorities strictly checked whether students were fasting. Even I was once caught staying back at hostel at lunch time, and I was strictly told to have food. So we had to keep our own ways to fast. We used to save the food we get at tea time. So if the tea was not satisfactory we had to choose another option. We would go to the shop outside and get something at the time. As the authorities were really strict and they didn't let anyone go outside the school without permission. It was for sure that the permission won't be granted. So we had created many outlets on the compound wall. We were in good terms with a shop keeper named Gafoor. We had night study time with attendance. After giving the attendance Shamil and I scramed out of the classes. We were having a tea and some snacks in the shop. Gafoor was joking about our mischievousness . Suddenly we heard a familiar sound. It was Suresh sir. He might have been out for smoking. Gafoor understood our situation. He said us to go in to the inner room of the shop and turned off the lights. We sat there till Gafoor confirmed that he left. We thanked Gafoor when we left. But now there has been a lot of changes in the school. There is food in the mess for muslim students when they have Ramzan. There will be enough food so that no student has to take risk for it.
