Beyond Physics

Friend, advisor, guardian, and primarily a Physics Teacher. That is how my favourite teacher can be defined. I said he is not just a teacher, since he was different from other faculty members in that institution. In a boarding school like Navodaya were life was like a hell with boundaries K R Prasad whom we call Dinkan was a source of light.

As a teacher he had the best dedication I could ever see. He would take his classes perfectly and would provide notes in his own writings to everyone. He would take the xerox of it and then distribute among us. He was a person whom we could approach at any time saying anything in personal. He was too close to us that he knew everything going on in that campus. I am sure these were the reasons that made one of my friends express his first love in front of him.

He scolded us if we went wrong. Guided us when we felt weak. Inspired us by being different. When my academic career gets to an end I will find his name on the top among my teachers.

Passanger Train...

Next train is at 2:40 pm. The man at the enquiry counter said. I looked at my watch. Another two hours more. Imperceptibly he added. There is a passenger train at 1:15 pm from the second platform. Weigh what you Read

The game was in good progress. We had started to create a formation for making the goal. Each player had started to mark a player at the opponent and it made the game more interesting. It was just a 12 year herd playing a time pass football match. The ground was really tough for us to cop up with, the contour was fluctuating for the full length. The match was interrupted suddenly and I saw Arif and Ajith flooding to the right corner of the ground. I shouted at them and asked to get back in to the match. We got hardly an hour a day for games in the busy schedule of Navodaya,my school. I understood they were running a bit seriously, and i joined them. Luis Figo- Someone to admire!!

I was in 9th standard. It was the season when I had started to love football. And so I had started to see many major games on TV. I got familiarised with many teams and players. I enjoyed World cup and many good tournaments. One day Aneesh, my classmate told me about Figo. He said that Figo is a great player on the mid-fields. Later I saw his game and was amazed on his skills. I became a true fan of him and kept on watching his games. It was Euro'04. That too in Portugal. Al though I was a supporter of England, I wanted to see Figo win. Watching Portugal's game I thought they deserved the cup. They made their way on to the finals. Greece. The other finalists. On analysing their path I could find that they had just luckily entered to the finals. Praying for Portugal I sat infront of the TV. Figo played an amazing game. Made many good chances.
